Your tract/production home renovation will generally fall into the following price ranges

$180–$300 (sunroom, garage conversion, or modest bump-out)
Remodel (upgrade existing sqf)
$100–$180 (open-concept changes, master suite upgrades, basic modernizing)
New Build (Construction Only)
$145–$220 (standardized plans, mid-grade materials; common in SC subdivisions)
The above price ranges include these allowances.
'Allowances' are budgeted dollar amounts set aside in the contract for customizable items that you will select during the build process. These are placeholders based on the builder's estimates for standard options. If you choose higher-end items, you'd pay the difference. If lower, you may get a credit.
